6 Ideas for Businesses to Stay Ahead of the Coronavirus
In staying ahead of the coronavirus, we are seeing SO much creativity when it comes to businesses. Share a bit of your own experience with one of these 6 ideas for your business while we fight this bug?
What you are actually doing is pivoting your path for your business. Have you ever read, Who Moved My Cheese?
This is the same idea, your clients are someplace else and you have to find a way to get your products, service to them.
It’s a great read if you are trying to understand how to deal with the changing times. We all want to keep our clients, sometimes, we just have to figure out where they went.
6 Business Ideas
- Virtual/Online Classes – Our own favourite personal trainer is now offering free workouts for his clients and facebook followers. This is the very best way to stay top of mine when it comes to your clients. Money might be an issue for them right now, and they may be self quarantined, but they are moving and trying to stay healthy.
- Deliver Your Products Yourself Locally – One of our favourite little shops has a specific group page for their shop and once you join that page, you are privy to their sales (and right now a huge 50% off sale on incoming new merchandise). You comment on what you want and what size, then they send you an invoice, you pay it and give your address, the shop owners then deliver your purchase in their own cars. Brilliant!
- Special Pricing – Our own company is offering special pricing and delayed payments for those who are really struggling. We don’t want to see businesses go out of business because of bills that are due.
- Offer Exclusives – For example, PINK was holding piano lessons on instagram the other day. How cool is that?! So why not offer something for just your fans or clients. Remember, something that you can afford to give away, that will keep you top of mind!
- Launch Your Podcast – What better time to launch your podcast! You pretty much have a captive audience. All you need is your phone to get started. Go for it!
- Sell Your Inventory – One of our local restaurants is selling their produce and inventory. People are still grocery shopping, why not sell our inventory if you are not open or have a strong take away clientele?!
You may choose to do none of this, and that’s ok. However, if you are worried about income and keeping top of mind with your clients, pivoting is a must.
What are you doing in your business to keep things going?
